Top Dog Stylist Helps New York City's Homeless Pets

New York, NY, April 17,2008 -Celebrity dog stylist Jorge Bendersky  
raised over $2000 in just two hours for New York City's Animal Haven  
Shelter and Adoption Center.  Jorge, one of the contestants of Animal  
Planet's new reality competition show, The Groomer Has It, hosted a  
special screening and fun-raising party at Chelsea's Gym Bar.   This  
party not only raised needed funds but also raised awareness about  
the city's pet overpopulation.

The popular bar was full of animal lovers including Jorge's clients,  
supporters of the shelter and fellow contestant, Jonathan.  Jorge is  
excited to use his experience on Groomer Has It to help shelter  
animals and increase adoptions.  When not grooming New York City's  
elite's dogs, he plans to organize more fundraisers, special grooming  
workshops and special events.

The Groomer Has It airs on Animal Manet every Saturday at 9pm.  For
